Online Backup Safe

Does a physical loss like theft or fire mean business disaster?

Most of the time, a company’s “secret sauce”—whether it is business process documents, a list of contacts, or complex financial spreadsheets—is stored on the computers at the company’s office.  The loss of such information through fire, theft or other physical event, can mean a costly reconstruction process, governmental compliance issues, loss of revenue . . . and sometimes the failure of the business entirely.  Foxtrot has an affordable solution to lessen the impact of such an event.

Protect hard-to-backup server data.  In addition to basic file backups, our StoreGrid software recognizes and is able to backup Microsoft Exchange and SQL databases.  StoreGrid  even supports Mac OS and most flavors of Linux desktop and server operating systems.

Schedule your backup as you like. Backups can run continuously, every X hours, or on particular days at particular times.  Most customers prefer middle-of-the-night backups, when bandwidth is    available and files are not in use.

We assist, and we monitor closely.  We will assist you in setting up your backup job, to make sure you’re backing up your important files.  Also, through our server we are able to view backup job progress, so we can inquire if your backups do not seem to be running regularly.

Only back up what has changed, at a sub-file level.  Only one full backup is required; after that, each time a file is changed only the changed blocks within the file are backed up.  In the event a file needs to be restored, there are multiple restore points available depending on how you choose to configure your backup jobs.

Your backups are secure.  Powerful encryption prevents unauthorized access (even we can’t access your files unless you provide the password).  Up to 448 bit encryption based on the proven Blowfish algorithm.
